LEARNING IS FUN Correct use of prepositions is very important and today let's learn some of them :- Compare "on time" and "in time" :- Ex. 1 . The 9.45 train left on time . ( i.e. it left at 9.45 ) ( If something happens on time, it happens at the planned time and not late) 2 . I must hurry. I want to reach home in time to see the cricket match on TV . ( i.e. soon enough to see the cricket match) Compare "at the end" and "in the end" :- At the end ( of some thing ) = at the time when some thing ends. For example : - at the end of the match , at the end of the month Ex . 1. All the players shook hands at the end of the match . 2. At the end of the concert , there was great applause . In the end = finally :- Ex . 1. He got more and more angry . In the end he just walked out of the room . 2. I had a lot of problems with my car. In the end I sold it and bought another.
